Bite is envisioned as a platform to share work that is born out of the classes, research, and conversations happening within the NYU Food Studies department.
We currently accept pitches from NYU Food Studies graduate students, or pieces from recent alumni that they worked on while at NYU. Details on how to submit can be found here. Our next deadline for submissions is yet to be determined, but do not hesitate to send us your pitch whenever creativity strikes you!

We welcome submissions on a wide variety of topics. Broadly speaking, anything related to food, restaurants, food policy, food media, farming, agriculture is fair game. We also welcome interviews, photo portfolios, videos and other art works. We publish posts in a panoply of genres, including but not limited to…
