Our Story

Who we are

Bite is a publication run by the NYU Food Studies Graduate Society, a student group organizes monthly events to engage the Graduate Food Studies Student Body. The events range from career panels, cooking/cultural food preparation lessons/workshops, farm tours of local growers, and informal/communal gatherings, often in collaboration with other student organizations.

 

Our goal is to foster a greater sense of community in the Food Studies program to produce events and activities that benefit the needs of students. Dismantling inequity and injustice across platforms is work that we must do to create real change. FSGS is committed to ensuring the representation and inclusivity of people from all identities, abilities, ages, and backgrounds in what we do.
